Silent & live auctions
Don’t forget about the Camp Service Auction Night! The recipient of these funds will be announced in the months leading up to the conference.
Please bring your donation item to check-in. We are looking for unique, high-end items of varying styles and sizes for the auction and raffle- coffee mugs are great, but T-Shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, fleeces, blankets, and backpacks are even better! During the live auction we look to engage the audience with t-shirt pulls, giveaways and more! You’ll find there’s something for everyone. Bring the type of items that you would be interested in bidding on.
Don’t forget to bring money to spend… after all, it is for a great cause! We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards, so there is no excuse for you not to spend! In addition to all the great camp gear, many of our vendors have donated amazing items this year that we know you are going to want to bid for!

Awards
As we come together as peers in camping, we take a moment to recognize individuals in our field who have made an impact through two different presentations- the Legend of Camping and Spotlight on Camping awards.
The Legend of Camping Award (also known as “The Skippy Award”) recognizes professionals who have given over and beyond to the YMCA Camping Movement in the Mid America Region. It is understood that this is to be a “capstone” award, recognizing the career of an individual whose contributions have impacted the very core of the institution of camping.
The Program Innovation Award recognizes a camp or individual that demonstrates a commitment to Program Innovation in the YMCA Camping movement highlighting youth development, healthy living, social responsibility, and DEI.
The MACC Mission Award recognizes a leader in the camping industry who actively contributes to education, connection and motivation within the MACC community.
To learn more or nominate someone for one of these awards, please visit the Awards page of our website
