COVID Information
Updated 12/27/21
All registrants are required to provide proof of vaccination when they arrive at the conference. For people without vaccination, proof of a negative test administered within 72 hours of arrival at the conference. Additionally, we are requesting that all participants, including those who are vaccinated, receive a COVID test before attending the conference. With an increase of breakthrough infections, we request that everyone who can, get tested as an additional precaution.
There will be numerous precautions in place throughout the conference in addition to the testing/vaccination requirement. We will require that all participants wear a mask, correctly covering their mouth and nose, at all times when they are indoors, with the exception of in one’s own cabin, or while actively eating or drinking. We ask you to bring multiple masks for your time at camp. There will be some masks provided by the conference. All cabins have HEPA air filters installed in them. We will also set up our spaces maximizing space between seats, and will ask participants to practice especially thorough hand hygiene practices.
It’s important that you are able to effectively weigh the risk associated with attending this event. While we are taking the above steps to mitigate the risk of COVID, we expect up to 200 participants at the conference, and attendees can expect to share a cabin with up to 10 other participants.
If you choose that you no longer wish to attend the conference, we are able to offer a full refund to people who cancel their registration before 12/31. Additionally, attendees who test positive for COVID or are a close contact and are required to isolate, will receive a full refund. To cancel your registration, email maccregistrar@gmail.com with your name and camp, and our registrar will process the change.
